The disco ball spiders and potion bottles at Target are Halloween decor superstars

Okay, sometimes bargain bin products are cheap throwaways. Everybody knows this isn’t true at Target. If this is news, then take a look at the Halloween gems I spotted. As always, I’m obsessed with these. Shop for what’s still in stock in my Target storefront.

Decorative potion bottles

A square, iridescent bottle with a "Witch's Brew" label sits next to a small, black witch hat bottle stopper.

These Halloween-themed poison bottles are so well made and nicely designed. First off, the iridescent effect is striking. It instantly grabbed me. The labels are bold and the typography feels very “apothecary” as if they were grabbed from some demonic potion cabinet. The flexible rubber corks are in three forms: a skull, a witch, and a bat.

I tossed a few onto a guest bathroom shelf and even placed one at the sink.

It’s like your shelf decided to throw a Halloween party and forgot to invite the boring decorations. No cauldron needed to grab some attention with these. Every room deserves a little character, even if it’s a little witchy!

Silver Halloween spider disco ball

A shiny, rose gold-colored spider decoration with a body and head made of small, faceted mirror pieces is shown on a store shelf.

These spiders are glitzy and unforgettable. Produced in two colors, the spider is made of very light plastic. Yeah, it totally looks like metal, but isn’t. The contrast between the faceted disco ball spheres and the simple, tubular legs is a thoughtful contrast of smooth and textured forms.

At a mere $1.00, I bought six for myself and covered the top of my piano with them, along with a bunch of LED candles. The scene is fab. You can see them in the video above.

Ice Scream Man skull figure

A vibrant green skull with a melting effect at the top holds a tall, beige-colored container labeled "Ice Scream Man."

At first, I thought this was some sort of upside-down drinking cup. The styling felt hand sculpted, which also caught my eye. Again, I wasn’t really sure what I was looking at, so I did a little research.

Designed by Brutherford, this ice cream man sculpture started out as an experiment and then was licensed by Target. I think this will become a collector’s item. Brutherford’s work will get tons of attention from the awesome creation!

Glittered Castlecore Skulls

A white and iridescent blue skull with glitter and bead decorations is shown in a Halloween display.

Covered in sequins, these skulls sort of stared a hole right through my soul. The dark blue one adorned with gold is the sure winner. Seriously, what an unexpected color way.

Skull and Witch Throw Pillows

A hand holds up a black decorative pillow in the shape of a skull with a sparkly, silver design.

I love the texture and size of these two pillows. For a second, I thought the skull was that awful ghost from Scream!

Laboratory inspired beaker beverage cups

A hand holds a frosted green beaker with a clear top, part of the Halloween decor section.

Made of plastic, these beverage flasks (maybe for shots?) are hilarious. I don’t know if they’re dishwasher safe, but they’ll totally look great on a black tray. Maybe fill one with dry ice? I could also imagine a black rose in one of these. It looks like you can get them in-store, but not online.
